1. Hey there. I stumbled upon your blog through the tags. I’m from NJ. I would say, one of the popular races in NJ would be the New Jersey Long Branch Marathon. It’s usually the first Sunday in May. They changed up a course (used to be two loops where the half marathoners would come to an end) as recent as 2011. Pretty flat.

   I hear there’s the Atlantic City Marathon in October (I believe the 2nd or 3rd Sunday) — but two big things I’ve heard is (1) It’s boring and (2) not a lot of spectators, which could be pretty rough.
